When is iPhone 5 Coming Out?
Apple normally releases a new version of its popular iPhone every summer. However, Apple has left everyone guessing this year when the new iPhone 5 will be out.
Will iPhone 5 look like iPhone 4?
According to the rumors on the Internet, it is believed that iPhone will be out by September. There are some who believe that Apple might surprise everyone by bringing it out in August.
There are several reasons for the delay this year in the release of iPhone 5. The earthquakes and the tsunami in Japan is assumed to be biggest reason that has delayed the supplies used for iPhone. Secondly, Apple has also announced the release of a new OS for its laptops and mobile devices. Therefore, it is believed that Apple might want to release the new iPhone hardware when the new OS is officially available in the market.
What will iPhone 5 look like? This is another question most commonly asked as the Apple fans eagerly await the release of the new iPhone. The form factor of iPhone 4 was well received by the users, but its reputation was marred due to an issue with the antenna. Apple later released an iPhone cover that could wrap around the phone practically shielding the antenna from human touch. It is now being speculated that Apple would revert back to a form factor for iPhone 5 to the one used with iPhone 3G. However, we would be not surprised if Apple comes out with a totally new form factor for its iPhone 5.
iPhone 5 is also being rumored to come out with an 8MP camera. The Facetime feature was added to the iPhone series from version 4.
A feature which would certainly be on iPhone 5 is its tight integration with Apple’s iCloud. The MobileMe application is being decommissioned and replaced by iCloud which would allow the users to store their data, pictures and applications on the cloud so that they could be accessed from any other device or location using just an Internet connection.
